Affiliate disclosure

Last reviewed 22 October 2026

Current status

As of 2026-10-20 this site carries no affiliate links and earns no commission. If that changes, this page is updated first and the date at the top changes with it.

What will change, and how

If we later join affiliate programmes — for example travel insurance or mobile data plans — links to those services will be marked as commercial, and the specific programmes will be named here. Two commitments:

• Ranking is not for sale. A service does not get a better position, a better sentence or a recommendation because it pays more, or at all.
• We will say when we have not tested something. Recommending a product we have not used is disclosed as such, not hidden behind confident phrasing.

What we will never do

• Link to counterfeit or "replica" sellers, or to the spreadsheets that index them.
• Accept payment for a positive review or for inclusion in a list.
• Use a link that hides its destination, or a redirect that obscures where you are being sent.

How to check us

If you find a commercial link on a page that is not disclosed on this page, that is a defect. Please report it using the contact address on the method page, and we will either disclose it or remove it.
